Day 1: Nairobi

JAMBO – KARIBU!! Warmly met upon arrival at the airport with our traditional, unique & special welcome. Transfer to your hotel in Nairobi, Kenya’s colorful capital city to check in to your city hotel. Rest of the day or evening is spent at leisure. Zebra, Ostrich, and giraffe live within the park.

Day 2: Nairobi

After breakfast start excursions of, Kenya’s colorful capital city visit Daphne Shedrick , and Karen Blixen Museum lunch at Karen Blixen return to the hotel. In the evening a welcome Cocktail & Dinner at the Manji Residence overnight at Sarova Stanley Hotel L-D-BB

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserves

Enjoy a full day on safari in Samburu (morning and afternoon game drives). In the evening, there is an option of sundowners before dinner in the central dining room.

Meet your driver guide after breakfast who will help you load your luggage into the safari land cruiser then proceed to Samburu. We arrive at the intimate camp to a warm welcome then lunch. We enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. The Samburu region is the best place to find several endemic Northern species; including the Gerenuk (twiga gazelle), the beisa Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Somali ostrich and Grevy’s Zebra. Samburu is also an ornithological paradise, home to many birds including local species such as the Palm Nut Vulture

Day 4: Samburu Game Reserves

Enjoy full day of morning and afternoon game viewing in both Samburu and Buffalo Springs game reserves. Leopards are often seen at dusk. The Samburu culture is a truly fascinating one, sharing a great deal of ancestral and linguistic ties to the Maasai. The entire Samburu region is a place of breathtaking and magical beauty, a place where the vision of a deep red sunset silhouetting the doum palms along the river as a leopard emerges to hunt brings the perfect end to a day on safari…… Enjoy meals and overnight at Elephant Bedroom Camp LDBB

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Visit to a Samburu Manyatta to see how the tribe lives in this harsh surrounding.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast depart south on a scenic drive towards Mt. Kenya, short game viewing enroute, arriving at your Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, proceed on an afternoon game viewing drive within the reserve famous for plenty of plains game and the big five. It is also home to the endangered Chimpanzee and the Rhino Sanctuaries. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

A full day to explore exotic Sweetwaters Sanctuary. The camp overlooks one of the busiest waterhole’s in the area and offers an astounding variety of animals including all the Big Five and myriad plains game. This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor. The tents at Sweetwaters will remind us of this past era.The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park

Our guide driver will pick you from the hotel after breakfast, drive to Mbweha camp. We arrive at the lodge to a very warm welcome, check-in then lunch. This afternoon we depart on short game viewing with a possibility of spotting Lion Dinner and overnight

Day 8: Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy the fantastic experience of a camel trek through Soysambu Conservancy filled with lot’s of plain game and the famous rothschild giraffe followed by a bush breakfast at a scenic spot overlooking Lake Elementaita. Return to the Lodge for lunch afternoon at leisure Mbweha Safari Camp LDBB

Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy afternoon game viewing drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Be on the look-out for the famous big five; the most sought after in the early 20th century, when Kenya was a hunters’ paradise. These include the lion, Cape buffalo, the savannah elephant, black rhino and the elusive leopard.The vast savannah grasslands stretch as far as the eye can see is home to impalas, maasai giraffes,waterbucks, warthogs,thompson & grant’s gazelles,topis, the resident wildebeestes among many others. Day 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy breakfast then proceed on a full day of game viewing drives & adventure. Be on the look-out for the big five that Maasai Mara is famous for. These include the lion, savannah (African) elephant, the Cape buffalo, the leopard and the black rhino. We may even be so lucky to witness a leopard or a cheetah sprint and make a kill! OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Balloon Safari over the Mara plains followed by a champagne breakfast or visit a traditional Masai Manyatta (off the beaten track) and experience the culture of this world famous community. Day 13: Lake Nakuru National Park

Wake up early with coffee/tea and head off on your last trail of the African savannah – hopefully, you’ll see some big game. Return to the Camp for breakfast. Unfortunately, all good experiences must come to an end and sadly you must say Kwaheri to your wonderful Camp Manager and his team drive to Nairobi or transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight to Wilson airport met on arrival and transfer to Jomo Kenyattta International airport for your home bound flight .
